1997 Honda Accord Question: Steering rack boots

Is a CV boot the same as a steering rack boot? -

No, these are different. The CV boot is on the axle and it prevents grease from leaking out of the CV Joint. The rack boot is on the steering rack and prevents dirt from getting into the steering rack. -
