Question: Steering pump replacement

All of the remanufactured pumps are sold without a pulley and i have been told that you cannot remove the pulley on your current pump & put it on the one you are putting in. is there a solution to this??

    Instructions say an hour to replace illustrations look straight forward, no pulley removal necessary on removal. Any auto machine shop have a universal power steering pulley removal tool (Lisle or OTC are two companies that make them).
