The F250 has a steering box type steering system. It is possible that something is binding up in the steering or suspension but it would be more likely the power steering pump is not supplying sufficient constant pressure. There is a bulletin from Ford about replacing a pressure hose to eliminate a groaning sound from the steering but nothing more specific to your problem. Ensure the fluid level is OK and have it checked out as it may be a sign of something that may become very serious.

F-250 Steering vibrates horribly as if it has a flat tire. Don't drive it for a day, then it's back to normal. Been to 3 shops no one can figure it out, of course it never does this on the repair guy.
