Check the inner fender liner (it is a black plastic trim panel inside the wheel arch). It is secured by small plastic clips, if it has become detached it may be fouling the tire on turns. If the car hit a severe enough pothole you may want a tire shop or any garage check that the tire or rim was not compromised or damaged. Hitting a severe pothole could cause the alignment to have been altered.
