I have had a worsening clicking noise and tension in the steering column when turning rt. or left. The steering column was replaced by a Toyota ( very expensive!) and now the problem has started again and it is worse than before. . My husband says to ignore it, but I'm concerned because it feel like something may just snap. Should I be concerned and is there any history of this problem in this vehicle?

If you feel the steering column binding, do not ignore this! Something may be loose inside the column and it could cause the steering to lock up, please get this checked out. I would take it back to the shop that performed the other repairs.
    Be careful and good luck!
