When I turn wheels more than half way at slow speed, there is a knocking & popping noise that you can feel in steering wheel. Steering linkage & arms are all good, I suspect something in Knuckles. Any idea or do you need more info? Thanks

MasterThere is a service plug on top of the steering knuckle, try packing the recommended Molyibnium Disulphide Lithium chassis grease in the plug hole and rotate the wheel with vehicle properly and safely supported. Rotating the wheel by hand do you hear the noise (eliminate the possibility of the noise being brake or wheel bearing related). Check for excess wheel bearing play by grabbing the wheel at 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock and then 3 o'clock and 9 o"clock and see if the wheel bearings are OK. If you hear the noise at full lock Toyota have plastic buttons on studs that limit the steering travel from side to side. When the buttons wear you hear a terrible sound but only at full lock and suspension travel.
