Noises can be difficult to diagnose even when you have the car in your shop, and you can reproduce the noise consistently. Without hearing the noise in person, it is very difficult. If you can reproduce the noise, try to get a mechanic to go for a test drive and see what they say. Or have some one drive it real slow in a safe place and stand outside the vehicle and try to determine where the noise is coming from.
