Just under 60,000 miles. Car idels a bit rough in Drive and will slow rev and move up to 8 mph but no faster no matter how hard the gas pedal is pushed. Is there a filter for air or to the fuel injector that needs to be checked or replaced?

If you have the computer coded out I can help you more. Have you changed the fuel filter ever? Have you done the factory scheduled maintenance like you are supposed to?

Yes, although the last was 30,000. Never changed fuel filter myself and don't think it was on the 30k list. How do I get the code out?

Need to retrieve codes stored in the computer of your car to begin with any meaningful diagnose as to whats wrong.Kia as a car manufacturer put a lot of great technical information and work shop manuals on line for free for Kia owners. www.kiatechinfo.com
