2004 Audi Allroad Quattro Question: Starts and runs for about 2 mins. then stalls.

I just replaced the engine in my 04 audi allroad quattro 2.7 bi-turbo and now it starts runs for about 2 minutes then stalls and wont run again for about 20 or 30 minutes. the wierd thing is that if i keep on the gas a bit it will stay running till i let off the gas. does anyone have any ideas?

    Considering the work done it could be a lot of things. Check basics with a scan tool , confirm fuel pressure and spark as well.
    Did you replace the ECM ? If so the immobilizer will need attention.
    I would double check the wiring , especially the ground connections.
