MY 83 starts at times - and times it wont,BUT when it do'es when put in drive it stalls, please going carzy.

MasterHave you tuned this lately because just replacing the cap,rotor and spark plugs can make a big difference in performance and also if the carburetor is out of adjustment (air fuel mixture and idle adjustment screw ) the engine will not idle properly

RookieNO HAVENT TUNED IT , SHE BELONGED TO MY BROTHER ,(NOW PASSED AWAY) HE KEEP'T HER UP LOAND HER OUT WHEN GOT HER BACK SHE ACTING UP ,,,,,,,

Visitor, December 27, 2010, 16:40Replycheck the fuel filter. same exact thing happened to me and i replaced the filter and it fires up and stays running when i put it in gear
