starting issues on 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD

In the last week I have noticied that when starting, the strarter cranks about three times longer than normal. I have 57,000 miles and was just wondering what are some things that could possibly be affecting this? Thanks

It could be an issue with the ignition system, including the ignition coil, spark plugs, ignition switch, etc. Your truck is so new, I'd visit the dealer for help under warranty. Does the full powertrain warranty lapse at 50k? They may still help you.
