I try to start my car and it makes a constant clicking noise and wont turn the radio and all else works. i try it a few times and it eventually starts. not sure why?

I would suspect you have loose or corroded battery connection, a bad battery or failing starter/starter solinoid. Ensure the battery connections are clean and tight and that the ground cable and connections at the engine and starter are good. The battery may not be fully charged or the alternator may be malfunctioning and not properly charging the battery properly.
