starter out on 1997 Dodge Avenger

starter is out have it onhooked but cant get out .2 bolts on manifold ?

The instructions in my manual say remove the front exhaust pipe, and show two bolts going through the bell housing from the opposite side of the starter near the engine mounting bracket, but doesn't illustrate or mention anything about bolts at the intake needing to be removed. Labor guide says its a .8 hour labor operation to replace.
