Question: starter disabled to to theft system

my cadilllac is displaying starter disabled to to anti theft system remove key from ignition. i took the key out and it displayed wait 3 minutes then start car i tried starting it and nothing it displayed the same message i tried disconnecting the battery for 10 mins nothing. i tried leaving the key forward for 15 mins nothing. i tried to take out all the fuses for the theft system nothing what do i do?

    The theft system wires going to the ignition lock cylinder are probably broken on your 1992 Cadillac Eldorado. This had been reported as a common problem by RepairPal, please visit this link - http://repairpal.com/cadillac-eldorado-1992/problems

    I had the same problem, I took it to an auto fix it shop and the wires were not broken, but they installed a new resistor and bypassed the anti theft system now it works fine. cost me 53.20
