Rookie

when trying to start the car and you let off the key the starter keeps on running until you disconnect the battery.

Does this mean a bad starter ??

...vdc, and everything is normal, but when I try to start it, it just makes a single tick at the starter, and will not start until I jump it with another running vehicle. Can you help please!
