2003 Kia Spectra Question: Started knocking even after an oil change and doesnt go away, suggest?

 Rookie

Only one previous owner and just bought it in February. The knocking does not stop and speeds up when car is accelerated. It just got an oil change and the noise slightly lessened. It's constant.

    We can't hear the knock, It would only be a guess. Take it to a service center near you and ask them what it might be, then get a second opinion.

    it sounds like you could have a spun rod bearing but I agree with #1 and have someone qualified to listen to it

    Please confirm that the correct oil was used and that it is at the proper level. A technician may offer try an engine treatment. Be very clear on all the information for the vehicle so they can accurately diagnose your noise.
