Found Stan's through repair pal. I thought that I found something good, well not so...
Had to have an engine replaced. It cost 3k so having spent that much money I was looking forward to getting my car back in good running order!

1st visit after engine swap: Oil leaking...Threads for trans cooler didn't thread correctly into radiator. tightened them, but still leaking!
2nd visit: radiator is the problem replaced with same...still leaks!
3rd visit: replaced radiator with another companies...previous leakage corrected, but now oil cooler line leaking oil and was told very rusted.
    Why reuse part then?

Owner Larry tells me that Paul told me about rusted part.
I knew they were going to salvage parts, but was never informed about this!

Coincidence that after all the unattaching and attaching that a rusted part previously not leaking starts leaking? METHINKS NOT!
$425 to replace both lines (recommended).
I get the aw shucks, tough luck speech and we (Stan's) had to eat the cost of a faulty radiator(poor us?).
So seriously Stan's, do I want to pay more money to do work that I will be unsure of, that should not have been reused in the first place?!!!!

    In Response To Your Reply:
It has been 4 months(May 5th)as you told me, and the different part is one that you chose to reuse rather than replace when you changed the engine. Yes I hold you responsible for chosing to do so. Also in your attempts to get the first radiator to work and subsequent 3rd radiator replacement, don't you think the bending of the lines(how many times?)caused the rusted part to leak?

Very surprised with your bad review after our long talk today and because repairs were done 6 month ago. You had a radiator problem I agree and I went out and bought you a new $300 radiator out of my pocket since the manufacture would not warranty it. After talking to you this afternoon I do understand you are limited on money but you can't hold me responsible or expect me to pay for a different part going bad. It has been a long time since the engine repair and additional parts do go when your cars is 15 years old. Also you were told that they were rusty from the beginning. If you have any further question please call me at the shop

I purchased my first Audi a month ago and needed some repair work. I was very concerned about a number of things but the main concern was taking my car to a place that would know how to properly diagnose the problem and properly repair what was wrong for a fair price.

I found Stans Garage and based on what I had read about these guys, figured I would give them a shot. After dropping the car off for an oil change, altenator and serpentine belt I thought to my self what else could be wrong?

Most shops take this opportunity to upsell but not Stans. They fixed only what was wrong and suggested the next maintenance interval. I spent a little more than I originally thought I would but the repairs were done correctly and the customer service is outstanding.

This shop will have my business from now on. They are truely the car experts. Please try Stans for yourself. This is not the typical garage experiance.
