Recommended preventive maintenance (oil change/flush) to the transmission of my 170,000 miles car. Also it was determined that a faulty vacuum valve should be replaced to prevent problems "down the road" as we were preparing for a road trip to Louisiana.

Very honest staff, I took my truck for a radiator leak they checked it for free and no pressure on getting anything done that didn't need fix. From dropping the truck off in the afternoon they had it done and ready to go the following mourning. I recommend them for honestly and promptness.
Took three days to fix my car. Now, I have a fan acting up after repairs. I was only visiting town and now I can't even make them fix the fan. There was no communication about time frames or prices. I waited for 2 days before I got word and I had to call.

Had a great experience. I worked with Wayne and Andre to get my truck dialed in. I had a few hiccups along the way but Wayne went above and beyond to get it resolved. Work was done without prior approval. Took car to have a/c checked for $39.
Then 8 hours later the car was ready and the a/c had been tested, evacuated and recharged. Final bill was $143. Still wasn't cooling properly and all they could say was that the a/c switch might be bad.
Came in for an oil change. SUV needed a few others things done while I was there but even though it was unexpected service was quick.
I came to get my car checked out before I left for a long trip and Micheal Reed suggested that I get my oil changed because the last time I had it done the wrong oil was used. Also my air filter needed changed. Had a great experience

The store supervisor puts company profits ahead of customer satisfaction, by not honoring quoted price of work done.
I am very sorry if you had a bad experience. We do stand 100% behind our quotes. When customers add other items than what they where originally quoted for like Oil change, Belts, and or A/C service, This will raise the price away from the original estimate.

The counter guy didn't make eye contact with me or say hello. The initial repair estimate was a $1500 then I asked them to double a smaller cause for the issue and I left paying $126. So disappointed. Use to love Stamps.

I went in to have work on my Chrysler and the first thing I see is another change in Manager. The previous managers treated me fairly and had the knowledge that was needed to maintain customer service. The new manager came right out and said he was brought in to make money cause the others weren't doing that. I needed to have the rack & pinion replaced on my car and he came in with a price that was almost $2500 dollars just for that... I had him do the oil change that I needed and made a few calls to friends who recommended a very good mechanic who said he could save me $900 dollars on the repair. While I was there listening to other customers paying their bills none of the bills were under $900 for any of the customers picking their cars up. I always thought that Stamps was fair and treated customers with respect. But this new manager who was there made it clear he was there to make money and that is what the owners wanted him to do..

We do not claim to be perfect and we did make a mistake with the manager we had at this location. I am sorry for this.

I have gotten things taken care of when going there. All the work is done professionally and promptly. The price is reasonable, and it was less than they said it would be. It was going to be 280.00 but turned out to be 240.00.
