Usually never have issues with you guys, but I dropped off my vehicle at 10:00am for an oil change that I had an appointment for. I didn't get a call all day and I called around 4 only to find out there was some issue at the shop, which had nothing to do with me or my vehicle. Didn't get the car until 5 right at closing time. It shouldn't take all day to get an oil change and if there is an issue, at least call me and let me know what the deal is.

Bill McIntosh, is an excellent manager, he has a great grew working for him, courteous,efficient and always looking out for your best interest. They're honest and don't try and sell you thing's you don't need, always up front with you. When I'm going on a trip Bill always lets me come in and they check all my fluids,tire pressure's, including the spare, etc...And he does it as a courtesy for me. I've been going to that shop for 5 or 6 years, maybe more it's when the owner John was running it. Love them all.

These guys are always honest and straight with me. Even if I have a preconceived notion of what the problem is that is more expensive to fix, they never hesitate to tell me if certain work is not required.

This shop handled my emergency repair/brake adjustment quickly and extremely professionally. I will definitely be returning for all my vehicle repairs and maintenance.
1999 Ford Ranger was overheating. Utilizing modern technology, and "old school" technology, the problem was diagnosed and problem fixed. Repair costs were reasonable, but most of all, much less than what I would have paid at the Ford dealership. I will definitely go back to Stamps Auto for auto repair in the future.

I was told that there would be no charge to diagnose my car but when I picked it up I was charged for 1/2 hour worth of labor.
Stamps always does good work and stays in contact through the whole process
The bill was low but unfortunately you didn't fix the problem. I brought the car in due to DMV couldn't pass emission test (sensors not sending data). Stamps told me it's just dust on the connector. But it still isn't sending the data from the connector under the dash.
They did everything we asked and more.

Our car went in 3 times of a noise complaint along with other issues....needless to say they worked on the other issues and ignored the noise....after $3000.00 in the 3 visits they told us it needed a new engine....if they addressed the noise the first visit we would have had the financial option as to the decision to make...now our attorney is getting involved.

I think I was over charged, the dealer sells the alternator for my van for $394.00 . I was charged $495.00. That was only for the part, I was charged $100.00 more then the dealer would have charged me. I feel I was taken advantage of. Labor rate I believe is excessive, $102.00 an hour.

We went in for service on the brakes twice.I found out after the second service that they turn the rotors but did not replace the brakes.After going to have the brakes replaced the second time, Three days after the service call we had to have a front end alignment done and two tires replaced because the tread had split.I thought they would have noticed that the tread on the tires were split if they had to take tires off to replace the brakes. we went in for service on the air conditioner Once. 3 days To a week after we have those service repairs done.They said that they replace the valve on the air conditioner and recharged it. 7 days after that repair was done the air conditioner stopped working.
Stamps Auto has been in contact with Pat on these repairs.
On each inspection, it was noted and an estimate was given to the customer for the repairs above, as well as noted on the customers receipt for what Stamps was recommending. 1 of the items regarding the brakes were out of warranty and we still took care of Pat on this matter. (3.5 years ago)
Since this review Pat has come in multiple times with further work done on his car.
Repair estimate for a brake job on my car was $600 more than the same service at the dealership, and $1000 more than a manufacturer authorized service center.
Stamps Auto has tried to contact this customer with no response.
History shows the vehicle to be a 2006 Porsche 911.
In our past experience with these vehicles, we have found them to be very expensive brake jobs, with many or all of the parts having to come from the Porsche dealership.
Many times all brake components are needed for proper brake functions when a brake system has failed.
The estimate only show what was essential for the cars braking system to operate to Porsche specifications.
Our warranty at Stamps Auto also comes with a 3 year/ 36,000 mile warranty on all parts and labor. This warranty is 2 years better the Porsche warranty.

I took my truck in for a oil change, told them to use the same as they always have they put a more expensive oil in it. Also they rotated my tires which I did not ask for. When I got home I noticed one of my tire lugs were missing had my husband check and he found one that was not tightened at all. I took it then to Michael at Johns other location and he replaced the lug that was missing.I would not go back to the shop on Higley ever again , I didn't think they could mess up a oil change. This is not the first time I have had problems with the Higley location but it will be the last..... I do want to say Thank-you for the great customer service that Michael at the Queen Creek location has provided because if it was not for him I would be looking for a different garage to take my vehicles to.....

I was a huge fan of Stamps and always took our cars there. I a new manager came in a while back and I have found him to be arrogant and unhelpful. I was charged for things that were not fixed and when I asked him he said things like, We couldn't find that. But I was still charged. He has ruined our favorite shop.
