Question: stalls when put into gear
Question
when the car is ideling it is fine...when i put it into gear it stalls...........i have not checked codes

MasterHey James,
Try cleaning the idle valve, they get gunked up with carbon and will not control the idle speed. Perform a search on "How to clean Ford Idle Valve" and you'll find a ton of info about this.Flag ThisLike0 -

Have you tried to make any adjustments to the throttle settings? I don't suggest this, but if they have been moved, then this could cause idle problems. You may have a bad idle valve too, best to have a mechanic diagnose it to determine the fault.Flag This
