Question: stalls when let off the gas

My engine stalls when I let off the gas before the engine is warmed up. When its warm the tach drops to 500 rpm then instantly goes up to 750 rpm where it should be.

    possiblyclogged fuel filter or improper preesre from fuel pump..or could be caused by a number of other things such as map/maf/egr/dirtychokeplate/tempsensor/somthing electrical/grounds..is check engine light on ?

    No the check engine light is not on. It starts fine and runs fine just stalls at the stop sign before its warmed up.
