2001 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 165,000 mi,
Low idle engine stalls occasionally. RPMs are at 500 dipping to 400 but they should be around 600 to 800 I believe.
My truck was stalling and shutting off at stop signs or red lights. I had the throttle body clean and had no more issues.

My Chevy suburban just stops when turning or at a stop.
Ours will say traction control off, stabilitrack off, and then say reducing engine power. It also can not sit and warm up or it will die. We have been waiting on a new throttle body for over two weeks.
vehicle would stall at red lights, turns, and shifting into reverse. I used CRC throttle body cleaner and CRC mass air flow cleaner. Problem solved instantly!!!
2000 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 276,000 mi,
cleaned throttle body
My 2009 suburban behaved the same way, rand rough, stabilitrak light, traction control light, service engine - the whole 9 yards, this all happened at 0500 hours on the way to work. My husband got it to the dealership and they indicated it was the throttle body, we will see when it is picked up...not very happy about any of this, what a dangerous situation...
Dies out at low speed does not idle at stop sign or light
