A dirty throttle body may cause a lower than normal idle and an engine stalling condition can develop. Performing a throttle body service will generally correct this concern.

My truck was stalling and shutting off at stop signs or red lights. I had the throttle body clean and had no more issues.

Ours will say traction control off, stabilitrack off, and then say reducing engine power. It also can not sit and warm up or it will die. We have been waiting on a new throttle body for over two weeks.

My 2009 suburban behaved the same way, rand rough, stabilitrak light, traction control light, service engine - the whole 9 yards, this all happened at 0500 hours on the way to work. My husband got it to the dealership and they indicated it was the throttle body, we will see when it is picked up...not very happy about any of this, what a dangerous situation...

My Chevy suburban just stops when turning or at a stop.
Low idle engine stalls occasionally. RPMs are at 500 dipping to 400 but they should be around 600 to 800 I believe.
