Reduced Engine Power flashes across the screen dissengaging the gas pedal. This is supposed to protect engine from overheating. However it has NEVER been hot. Bought my 2003 with just 24000 mi on it. Now has 215000. I've had it in four different mechanic shops over the years, and none have fixed the problem for more than a year. I've always been able to turn it off, gently shake the wires going into the throttle body and restart the pickup then it will be fine for awhile...hours, days, or weeks. Happens more often when over 80 deg out. Love the pickup for pulling so I've kept it around regardless of this aggrivating problem. Crazy problem that none of the mechanic shops have ever permanantley fixed!
