My Sprinter is a grooming conversion van with rear A/C and an inverter. Intermittently the van will stall upon coming to a stop at a light or intersection. Has been to the dealership 3 times and they cannot find the cause as it will not duplicate itself when tested. What to do???

I would look for a better shop. The Dealership is NOT always the best at Diagnosis. There should be some kind of data record in the computer memory that would point to a problem. Just because it won't stall on a test drive does not mean that there is not a problem. Good Luck!

I have the same problem began when the vehicle was new. They never solved it and I've changed everything myself. No warning, no sensors, no codes-just quits like a light switch.
The van is still under warranty so need to stay with an authorized dealership. Any ideas on what the problem might be along with a solution?
After fueling I went to take off as I was leaving gas station I pressed the gas and the engine stalled, it would start and idle but as soon as I press gas pedal it dies, any suggestions?
At about 80 000mi my turbo resonator started to leak. Van went into "limp home mode" and I had to drive it another 200 mi (drove like a snail...) to get it fixed. Got it fixed (resonator replaced) ...
