Question: stalling

Rookie

The car runs great for about 10 minutes or so then stalls. will not start for about 10 to 15 minutes later. Have alredy changed the fuel filter and mass air flow sensor. I almost changed the fuel pump but I think it can be another problem. Any help would be great!

You may have a crankshaft postion sensor that is failing. Check for spark and fuel pressure when the car won't start. If there is no spark the I would be checking the ignition system begining with the crankshaft position sensor.

My 1994 Olds 98 runs fine in the winter but stalls in the summer when the temperature is about 100 degree F or above. All indication is that the fuel pump gets hot and fails. I've checked all the other sensors and control module and they are okay.So I am going to replace the fuel pump and see if that is in fact the problem.
