I have been having to turn off the stability trac on my suburban it has been lacking power when excelerating any ideas why this would happen and what might need replaced

    You need to have the system scanned. The S-trac system is a combination of a few systems and software. You need to pull some codes and trace the problem. There should be some codes. You should be getting a Service Vehicle Soon Light coming on.
