    Beware of SSI. If you get work done on your car here double check to see if it was actually done! I dropped off my car at SSI on a Friday morning and gave authorization to get the car worked on. I was told that the car would be finished by Tuesday. Tuesday morning I arrived at the shop at 8am to pick up my car. Unfortunately, I had to wait 30mins for someone to bill me out. I guess even though the shop opens at 8am, workers do not show up till after 8:30. I was annoyed but happy to get my car back, so payed without complaining about the wait. As soon as I started the car, I noticed nothing was done lol. Check engine light was flashing, cylinders misfiring, and the plastic engine cover was cracked. When I approached the staff. I received three different stories of what happened. One person said I never gave authorization,which was untrue. The other said they had my car confused with another and thought it was done, and the third said that it was a miscommunication between the staff. The staff was arrogant as if they did not do anything wrong. I took my car out of there and will probably do the work myself.

    Sloans prices are ridiculous. They had my car on the lift for an hour and a half, and were not working on it but for half of that time. I was charge for over 7 hrs of work. Over $900.00. I was told that they charge by book time. What a joke this place is. Receptionist was rude when i questioned how they charged me "adjusting a hydraulic clutch". Total scam artists!!

    I was very happy with both the quality of the service I received and the speed in which repairs were completed. The technicians explained exactly what had happened (clogged water pump which led to leaking coolant) so I felt confident that I was not being ripped off. I will be back the next time my car needs service.
