SRS Light on 2000 Honda Accord

My SRS light is now on all the time. Could it be an electrical problem that by disconnecting the battery it will reset itself?

If the SRS light is on then there is an issue with the SRS system that should be addressed and repaired before the light is reset. In some cases the repair can be covered by American Honda as they have a lifetime seat belt warranty. The seat belts are part of the SRS system and if a part of the seat belt fails due to a defect in manufacture, it can be covered. It's worth paying for the dealer to at least diagnose it to see what's wrong and how much it will cost for repair.
