Question: squeeling noise very loud under gas pedal area

once i crank my van it immediately squeals as i drive and push the gas pedal it calms down but still squeals but not as much.in septnmenber we had hard rain and i almost got stuck in the rain and ever since then my van squeals but now it's way worst.

    Drive belt or driven componet or both. Have the belt system checked!

    The squealing sound you hear is probably from the serpentine belt slipping. You either need a new belt or iddler pulley or both. Most likely the belt.
