I have a 1993 Isuzu p/u I just noticed a squeeky noise when I turn to the left. Repair place telling me it could be ball joint or tie rod, but I'm not hearing a knock but a squeek....

MasterGet a diagnosis at an alignment shop or an Isuzu specialist. Doesn't sound to me that anyone's actually inspected the car, or he'd know what's actually making the noise.
