i also have a 98 and mine did the same thing get a grease gun and grease needle and all your front end parts have rubber fittings they are greased when new but over time the grease weres out your upper control arms have some your tie rod ends and the inside ones have them your lower ball joints but not sure you can n
get to those there are more just look for the rubber fittings all aroud and poke with your grease needle and pump till you see it start coming out and you will be good i did it fixed that horrable noise when you replace some of those parts wich you will a
