Has anyone encountered air bag deployment while driving on interstate and rolling over the grooves that let you know you went over the yellow line without a crash or erratic behavior? I was dodging debris from a dump truck. If so, besides insurance, could Mercedes be liable? I have never heard of this happening. It scared the life out me not to mention could have caused an accident and hurt others.

MasterI have not heard of this but I would contact Mercedes customer service North America and the National Highway and Transport department to see if they are investigating any other instance of this happening.
