Question: speedomiter gauge goes out and doesnt shift right..

my speedomitor and odometer gauges will go out and at the same time my car doesnt shift at the rated rpm.

    the speed sensor not only signals the speedometer to show you how fast you are going but it also tells the computer so it knows when to shift
