What kind of speedometer does a 1994 grand marquis have, mechanical or electrical

    Your car has a vehicle speed sensor (VSS) at the left hand rear of the transmission that sends a varying a/c voltage that increases in frequency as you drive faster. No speedo cable its electronic.
