1995 Ford Aerostar Question: Speedometer cable replacement

Both cables by gas pedal has the plastic adjusting part broken how do I replace it?

    Both cables? Some models did have a speedometer cable, and you need to disconnect the transmission end so that the instrument cluster can be pulled out from the dash far enough to unplug the cable from the back of the speedometer head. To disconnect the cable there is a flat side that you will feel, push that towards the center of the cable and pull from the cluster. The part that doesn't make sense is the speedometer cable goes straight from the transmission to the speedometer. It is a single cable assembly, but you asked about two. Can you post some pictures on photo bucket and provide some links?
