i have a 1990 grand am with a 2.5 liter engine. someone has put a transmission off a 2.3 engine in the car and the vehicle speed sensor is different. the speedometer will not register right. is there any fix for this other than changing transmissions?

you need the gear from the other trans. there are different ones for different gear ratios and you need your old one to pout in the one you have. it is a simple process to change the bullet' Roy
Speedometer works but is off by 30 mph.
The speedometer is off by 30 mph. Just took the car to oreilly's to check on engine as well and the o2 sensor...
