Question: sometimes when starting the vehicle it tries to lurch forward

sometimes when I turn on the ignition it feels like it is going to move or try to move foward even though it is still in park. I have talked to several other people that have a GMC or Chevy and have had the same experience. I have asked the service manager where I bought the vehicle about this. He said his truck does the same thing but there has not been any service sheet out on the problem.
He has no solution. Anyone have a comment?
