2007 Nissan Versa Q&A
2007 Nissan Versa Question: sometimes takes longer to start than normal.
You need to have an Engine Computer scan, and a cold and warm fuel pressure test. I would also recommend a Check Engine Light Diagnosis. Here is an article I recently constructed that explains what is involved. This type of stuff gets repaired everyday in my shop, if you go to a good Diagnostic shop, they can take care of this. http://repairpal.com/check-engine-light-diagnosis http://repairpal.com/directory?address=37922&car_brand_names=Nissan - dandd
I had this problem, took it in to the dealership, and they fixed it on a recall warranty. Said it was a failing check valve in the fuel line. Actually has nothing to do with your AC, just the temperature outside. When it's really hot, the valve deforms a bit, allowing the gas to bleed back down into the tank, making it difficult to turn over the engine. (have to crank for a while). At least that's what they told me. Hope that helps - Visitor
