1998 Honda Accord

Question: sometimes it won't start

Sometimes when I try to go somewhere the car won't start. It usually will if I keep trying. Other times if I go somewhere it might get me there but when I start to leave it won't crank. Usually after a short trip. (Now I've stopped using it to go any farther than around the neighborhood).
Thought maybe it's the main relay. I don't know where the main relay is located. Have also wondered if it is the auto theft device.
If you could help I would be so grateful. I miss my car and it still looks good. Too good to just be sitting in my yard.
Thanks!

I just had the very same issue happen with my Honda Accord. I took it to the Honda dealership for a diagnostics and they said it was the main relay and the EGR valve was clogged. We just had the shop fix the issue, but I want to take the time at a later point to figure out where it is located.

My 98 Honda wouldnt start when the inside of the car got hot...It was the Main relay switch..once that was changed it NEVER had that problem again.
