2011 Dodge Charger - Trunk lid lock cycles by itself when I first start the engine (sometimes) or press the starter button to get to ACC mode. It only happens when the vehicle is in park (so far). Occassionally the same unlocking occurs when the car engine is off and my fob is in the house, 60 feet away from the vehicle. I took the car back to the dealer once and they found a defective fob, which they replaced; but, the problem persists, though less frequently.
The service manager told me not to keep the fob in my pants pocket as this may be the cause; however, the last couple of times, the fob was on a counter top or on the car seat. Definitely not a problem in my pants.
