Question: Smoke From Exhaust

 Rookie

I have seen many 92 and 93 acura legends and all smoke from the tail pipe is it normally bottom or top valve seals?

  It is important to determine when the car smokes. Does it smoke on cold start up, then this is usually the valve guides. If it smokes under power, it is usually the rings. If it smokes when you are slowing down, it is usually the valve seals and guides. These ASE certification questions for engine smoking diagnosis and will work for any gasoline piston engine. I am assuming you are referring to gray/blue, oil based smoking.
