Is the oil still leaking from the valve covers I wonder if the valve cover gasket got pinched or not installed correctly. I wonder if the valve cover could be warped or the crankcase is building up excess pressure due to a bad PCV valve. Clean off the oil and reinspect for an oil leak, smoke test or add dye to pinpoint the source of the leak if needed.

Gaskets are pretty hard in installing on this vehicle. I used a glue to attach them to the groove they fit into then put a weight on them for about an hour so they would stay in place when installed, and still had problems on them coming out of there grooves. After I did get installed, I took a mirror and really inspected well to make sure the gasket did not move on installation of the valve cover. My first attempt one of my gaskets did not seat properly in one area which caused a leak onto my exhaust manifold. Had to disassemble and repeat assembly to get it right. Hope this helps.
