1990 Mercedes-Benz 190E Question: smell of gas odor

I just purchased a used 190E with 91K miles. I know it might needs some work but I didn't smell the gas odor when I first tested the car a few weeks ago. It's starts with a little hesitation now that it's cold but the gas smell is worrisome.

    Have this inspected by a shop ASAP, you may have a leaking injector, which could pose a fire danger.

    Thank You I will have this checked out asap. Do you know approx. how much this should cost...parts/labor.
