where is maf on slk 230, do you have a diagram?
what would cause vibration when slk 230 is put in reverse?

  My mechanic told me vibration when in reverse was a motor mount issue. He went into detail about some kind of sponge rubber thingy that looses stiffness and causes shaking when the car is in reverse gear. Dunno if I can buy that one....FYI
