skips on 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

between 45 & 55 mph if you let off the gas and get back on it the motor seems to skip or bogg down

Has a Check Engine Light come on? I presume what you describe is an ignition misfire under load, or loss of fuel pressure or volume. Attaching a scantool to the 16 pin diagnostic socket will show codes and pending codes. A good scan tool also provides live data on sensors air flow into the engine and fuel trim figures that could lead toward diagnosing vacuum leaks fuel system or ignition problems.

No warning lights have come on new fuel pump tranny plugs wires none of this changed a thing
