    ****DO NOT DO BUSINESS AT SIERRA NEVADA AUTOMOTIVE - STEVE KRAUSE****
    The owner Steve Krause took my 1975 MG Midget to sale on consignment. He did not have the pink slip or a bill of sale. Now he will not take my calls and they hang up on me. They won't tell me if my car was sold or the status. I live in California and they are in Nevada.

    DO NOT USE THIS SHOP!!!!
    The owner is an ASS! I took my car in because it was running rough, not missing, but needed some adjustments. They did a diagnostic check, and confirmed with me that the valves needed adjustment. I scheduled the service three days ahead, and brought my car the night before, so it would be cool the next day. After finding out that it wasnt going to be done that day, because of someone else's car, i was a little irritated, but they promised i'd have it the next day. I went in the next day, paid for the work, and picked up my car. THATS where the problems began!! NOW my car was misfiring, and they claimed it was brought in that way. I brought it back that night, and they worked on it a little further, then said "yeah, sorry, thats because its a high mileage car". I wasn't happy, but i went home with it. The next day going to work in it, I was angry that it was missing soooo bad! I felt like I barely made it to my destination, AND it now took almost a 1/4 tank of fuel! for a trip that used less than a 1/16th of fuel before!
    Well I left work and brought it back to them, the owner had an attitude, and was telling me that he did what i asked him to do, and tough shit. Exact quote: You're asking me to make chicken salad out of chicken shit!"
    The technician had a better attitude and approach than the owner! I said as much. I ended up getting my money back (minus part cost, which is reasonable)

    DO NOT USE THIS SHOP!!!!!!!!!!
