The service was great. Quick and a lot of communication. I just wish I would have been told that there was an extra fee to rotate the tires. If I would have known I would have said no because I can get that done for free at America's tires.

Staff was helpful and friendly. The estimate for service was honored however it did take a bit longer than expected to complete. My car's brakes were repaired however the alignment was not adjusted after service so I had to bring it to another mechanic to fix. I will use them again anyway because they were nice and conveniently located.

Although the seat belt is properly buckled...
1. Unplug the driver side seat belt pretensioner connector. It is a Yellow 4-pin connector for convertibles and 2-pin connector for sedans.

2. Disconnect the pretensioner connector and jumper the wires together on the harness side. Wire colors are Light Green/Yellow and Light Green/Dark Green.

3. Check if a code for the driver side pretensioner circuit shorted is stored.

4. If the shorted code is stored, the wires and module are OK. The pretensioner is faulty.


My engine builder has had two new engines ...
WELL THERE IS TWO CATS ON THIS ONE, DID BOTH CATS FAIL?
I CALL BS TOO, THEY JUST WANT TO GET OUT OF DOING THE JOB AGAIN.
THESE ARE HARD ENGINES TO REBUILD.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT HAPPENES...
I own a 2007 vw jetta at this time is doin...
it is possible it may be the ignition switch or connection straight from the battery.
was the battery replaced with in the last few months?

Grounds are the first to check.
you do need a scan tool with abs data functions. Drive up to 25mph and see if all wheel speed sensors work.
you should notice the problem right away.
if it shows one of the wheel speed sensors not working but you know its good or tested and its good, then the problem is your EBCM. its not sending the correct +/- to that sensor.
the curve ball on this one is the code c0455. which has to do with the steering wheel position sensor.
check connection c101. that is the first thing. 2) if your scan tool can calibrate the yaw, DO IT. 3)if there is still a problem with the steering wheel position sensor replace it and be sure to use oem. aftermarket will cause a issue in a short period of time.

problem with my van trying to run HOT - re...
I would make sure that the fans are working and then perform a block test.
A block test used the blue chemical. what we what to do is make sure there is no exhaust gas in the cooling system. If there is exhaust gas in the cooling system the chemical would turn green or yellow. If this is the case, do not spend money on any thing else, you have head gasket problems.

Hi.
I have a feeling you are getting miss directed. Have the vehicle check out by a manufacture scan tool. OTC or Snap-On would work, but not a OBD2 generic.
The reason is that there has to be other codes. If there is no other codes. P0340 means its your camshaft position sensor. Remove the sensor and inspect, personal I love to replace this with the Synchronizer Assembly.
If the codes are all over the map, you would want to check body grounds.
if the codes are related with a misfire then replace the cps.
