My pathfinder has been turning off while driving. Like someone has reached over and turned off the key. The heater turns off, power windows do not work, no idiot lights lit, stereo sometimes turns off but not all the time. I have only had this happen 1 time when the outside temperature is less than 70. I do a paper route at night and it will run for 3 hours or more with out this happening. Then in the afternoon coming home from work it will just turn off. I put it into neutral while moving and it starts right back up. So far has not left me stranded. There is no rhyme or reason to when it will shut off. Sometimes I can go several miles with out it shutting off, other times it's just a couple miles. Any ideas?

Ck the battery. Battery may be getting jarred around and connectors might become loosened....connectors may just need to be tightened more firmly to the battery.
