I took my 2005 Camry in today for 75K mile maintenance and the service tech told me that there was a water pump leak and that I needed a new water pump so I authorized the repair. My husband was surprised because he didn't see any evidence of the leak. He also thought they should have replaced the timing chain at the same time and this would have been more cost effective. Should I call the service manager and complain? Do you think they'e trying to take advantage of me?

taking advantage would be selling something you dont need.
you have a belt and yes, it should have been done.
talk to the manager and hear what he has to say.
