Question: Should the water pump be replaced at the same time as the drive belt at 100,000

My dealer replaced the drive belt at 100,000 miles but did not replace the water pump. At 130,000 the water pump went out. Now I have to replace both the pump and the belt.

    timing belt and water pump get chnaged together. the drive belt drives the alt,ps and ac. that is the one external. the timing belt and water pump are internal.
